Sound Check w/ The Jake Henson Band

Jake Henson is an 18 year old guitarist/singer/songwriter out of Indianapolis, Indiana. He has been playing guitar since he was 8 years old, and has been performing professionally since he was 12. He has performed at The House of Blues and Reggies in Chicago, as well as the Bluebird Café and BB Kings in Nashville. In 2013 he headlined at the first annual Indy Labor Fest in Downtown Indianapolis. His fan base stretches throughout the mid-west. Although he grew up playing the blues and jazz—and is influenced by both—his music is new wave original pop. Jake wrote all the songs featured on the album ‘Heavy’, and recorded it at the Static Shack Studio with engineer/producer Alan Johnson. The album will be released on June 27th 2014.
